Easy Tiger, one of Austin’s most beloved brands, is currently seeking a Hiring & Recruiting Assistant to join our team!
  
Our mission is to help our guests “Slow Down, Stay Awhile” by curating a dine in, take out and delivery experience that brings people together around the table to break bread and enjoy Easy Tiger wherever they are and however they wish.  

Our menu highlights our artisanal breads and pastries, baked fresh daily, and paired with our house recipe smoked meats and sausages. We also feature a full bar that includes an impressive selection of craft beers - all meant to be enjoyed in our expansive outdoor beer gardens!

The Hiring & Recruiting Assistant is responsible for effectively assisting with daily hiring and recruiting tasks for hourly bakery and beer garden positions. This position is responsible for ensuring that all positions are posted as needed in R365 Hire, reviewing viable applicants daily, screening potential candidates and setting up interviews with appropriate hiring managers.    
 
The Hiring & Recruiting Assistant acts as a brand representative by communicating pertinent information regarding open positions and Easy Tiger and reinforces the company goals, visions and mission statement. Additionally, the Hiring & Recruiting Assistant is responsible for keeping the HR Director and Hiring Managers promptly and fully informed of all significant matters (i.e. issues, challenges and unusual matters). They are also responsible for creating/maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with all staff members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which is conducive to maximum staff morale, productivity and efficiencies. 
 
REPORTS TO:  HR Director 
SALARY / GRADE LEVEL:  Hourly/Non-Exempt 
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: 
  • Posts and re-posts jobs in R365 as needed per direction from HR Director 
  • Review applicants daily 
  • Reach out to applicants to perform phone interviews and document responses in R365 “Phone Interview Scorecards”.  
  • Assess if a potential candidate may be a good fit for a position based on hiring criteria provided by HR Director and Hiring Managers 
  • Move applicants appropriately through the interview pipeline in R365 and deactivate any applicants that are non-responsive or applicants that will not be receiving offers 
  • Communicate with hiring managers to schedule in person interviews 
  • Follow up with hiring managers on status of applicants  
  • Compose weekly hiring summary for HR Director & Hiring Managers 
  • Attend hiring fairs and act as an Easy Tiger brand representative for recruiting opportunities.  
  • Maintains overall organization of R365 Hire platform  
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Proven leadership and motivational skills  
  • One (1) year hiring and interviewing experience  
  • Displays a professional appearance and is a positive role model within the restaurant 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft & Google Suite) and office skills required

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
