Easy Tiger,
one of Austin’s most beloved brands, is currently seeking an Events Sales Manager to join our team. 

Our mission is to help our guests “Slow Down, Stay Awhile” by curating a dine in, take out and delivery experience that brings people together around the table to break bread and enjoy Easy Tiger wherever they are and however they wish. 

Our menu highlights our artisanal breads and pastries, baked fresh daily,  and paired with our house recipe smoked meats and sausages. We also feature a full bar that includes an impressive selection of craft beers - all meant to be enjoyed in our expansive outdoor beer gardens! 

We are looking for team members that are hard working, unique, bring a warm, personal and thoughtful approach to hospitality and find joy in actively serving their team and guests. We have a high standard for our product and service and expect our team to constantly raise the bar and be proud of the Easy Tiger brand and wear it as a badge of honor. 

The  Events Sales Manager is responsible for the development and growth of the Easy Tiger gifts, catering and events program with corporate and community clientele. This person is a hard-working, self-starter who considers themselves a social butterfly and can be the name and face of Easy Tiger in the Austin community.
 
Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Manager will be responsible for partnering with our General Managers to sell Easy Tiger programs and products and generate incremental sales for the company. 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for our brand, previous sales experience, keen organization and communication skills and a drive to impress from the moment they first speak to someone to the nurturing of long-term relationships that result in referrals and recurring revenue. This person is a go-getter and self-starter that lives to network and is energized by seeing our brand grow!

SALARY / GRADE LEVEL:  Salaried / Exempt + Commission

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Solutions-Based Selling: Using a variety of products and services to meet client objectives, exceed revenue targets by developing relationships within corporate and community sectors. Responsible for lead generation, sales process from start to finish, and client relationship management. Products and services include:

  • Gifts: Introduce Easy Tiger Gifts to new clients for bulk ordering and work with GMs to ensure quality client experience where expectations are exceeded. You’ll be working with nonprofits, schools, professional services, HR departments and other folks who rely on gift giving to build connections and show others they care.

  • Catering: Develop clientele and close business for an emerging catering service where Easy Tiger comes to the table for small-, medium- and large-group needs. Sell from assigned menu of options and partner with Chef/GM to exceed client expectations.

**Important: This is an active, outbound sales job with revenue targets and aggressive goals to meet; of course, the right candidate can sell and close without it feeling like a sales pitch – but it is a performance-based opportunity dependent on a high level of activity and tenacity to succeed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of sales experience

  • Organizational skills; you are an on-time, on-budget and on-your-game person. You are able to prioritize a variety of demands at once and stay calm and cool under pressure; strive for order and simplicity to get things done.
  • Numerical acumen; you can build and manage a sales funnel and deliver results in an efficient manner, acting as a good steward of company resources.
  • Proven skills in organizing work, attention to detail, giving direction, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Positive, can-do spirit; you have a critical eye and passion to execute while working with a spirit that inspires others to achieve more. You solve problems in an original way with a pleasant demeanor and enjoy completing projects as a team.
